| KTEP - Knowledge Team Effectiveness Profile |
 |
|
As Muse readers will know, we are keenly interested
in helping leaders and teams do great work AND enjoy
working together! We were excited to run across a
team instrument, KTEP, that turns data about fuzzy
team dynamics into clear performance feedback. It
is a diagnostic, assessment and discussion tool to
guide you in developing optimal team performance.
KTEP has been tested and proven reliable on hundreds
of teams around the world.
Tammy participated in a certification workshop this
June to work with this instrument, and was very
impressed with the tool's ability to provide
detailed analysis of how a team is functioning. The
real advantage, however, is how well this tool
facilitates the design of custom interventions and
coaching for a team.
Tammy is the only person in Canada certified to
work with this tool! Call her today to find out how
to use KTEP with your team!

| Bringing Community and Learning to Langara College |
 |
|
As we noted in the last issue, we had a number of
Royal Roads graduate learners complete their major
projects using LearningEdge. This month we provide a
short summary of work done by Maureen Ewing.
Maureen worked with Langara College Continuing
Studies to help them identify internal learning and
community strategies that reflect their commitment to
facilitating lifelong learning for their clients.
Langara College has been named the number one
college in the city of Vancouver for the past three
years by a community newspaper survey.
As is perhaps typical of continuing education units
across the country, they very often provide
outstanding service to their clients, but may not
focus enough on how they support their own internal
learning and community building. By using two of
the tools in the LearningEdge process, Maureen
engaged various stakeholders in a dialogue of these
issues and provided many valuable recommendations to
Langara College on how to leverage their existing
strengths to keep up with the challenges they face.
Congrats Maureen on contributing to the ongoing
success of such an important organization!
