| Muse Readership Survey |
We've been publishing the Muse for just over a
year now and would love to get some feedback.
Help us continue to publish relevant and useful
articles by taking a few minutes of your time to
complete the survey. It's a short 10 questions!

Book summary services have been around for a few
years now, but we just stumbled across Execubooks
through our Canadian Society for Training and
Development (CSTD) membership. All CSTD members also
receive membership with Execubooks (a savings of
about $100 USD per year).
They have quite a selection of books in categories
such as biography, career development, economics &
politics, global business, human resources, ideas &
trends, leadership & strategy, management, personal
finance, sales & marketing, and small business.
What's of most interest to us is that they make
their summaries available in a number of electronic
formats - Palm Reader, Microsoft Reader, Acrobat
eBook Reader, Acrobat Reader, or Web Browser (which
can then be printed). You can also buy individual
summaries for $2.99, as opposed to a full year's
subscription to their entire collection.

| Communities of Practice Briefing Paper |
Last year, Dave completed a course on
Communities of Practice with Etienne Wenger. He
then wrote an article for The Training
Report.
We are now making that article available as a
briefing paper for our Muse readers.

Congratulations to Katherine Graham for winning
our Chapters gift certificate for signing the
new LearningEdge website guestbook.
HRIA Conference in
Calgary
We've updated our conference banners and received an
enthusiastic response from participants. Over 40
people attended our presentation, where we used the
learning signature to help participants think about
how they roll out new learning programs such as
leadership, coaching or mentoring. If you
look closely at the picture below, you'll also see a
Calgary Flames banner in the bottom right corner.
For any hockey fans out there ... Go Flames Go!!!!
